Conference on themes from Anglo-Saxon culture and civilisation

Three students from our school participated successfully at the conference on themes from Anglo-Saxon culture and civilization, which took place on 4th of May 2017 at Ecological University. Busi Beatrice and Badea Georgiana from year 10 I were both awarded with the first prize for their projects entitled ‘’Criminology’’ and ‘’English legends’’. Our third participant was Gheorghiu Iris from year 10 C who obtained the second prize for her presentation on ‘’Wicca – a new religious movement’’. The coordinator of the projects – Vacaresteanu Nicoleta – teacher of English at ICHB encouraged the students to take this great opportunity to improve their presentation and speaking skills and stated that the conference has become a traditional activity in our English department.
